In a sudden drive of energy last night, I got to working on building myself a workstation for my OOAK figures. By making use of some old desk space, that had just been being used for junk storage after I moved my computer back out of the bedroom and into the office, and some Robot Desk Lamp lamps that I had bought just for this purpose a while back, I created a workstation for building my creations.

I’m really happy with how it turned out and will be sharing information on how I built it when I can get time to edit the pictures and everything and write it all up, but for now, I want to share what I discovered tonight.

The OOAK figures work area doubles as a cat tanning bed. Well, my cat Harry thinks so at least. I went in the bedroom and found this…

Apparently the nice toasty glow of three spotlights is just too much for a chilly Siamese to resist the temptations of. Now to figure out how to keep him off of there when I am trying to work. That will be a challenge, but fortunately I think I can keep him off the desk when I am not working by turning the nice warm spot lamps off. At least I hope it will be that simple.
