I have a new figure in the works, can’t say much about it at the moment, because it might be a Christmas gift for someone and I don’t know if they read this site or not, but it is the second biggest polymer clay figure I have tackled so far.

The biggest was the wyvern that I made for the Alaska State Fair, he was a fairly good sized figure that required baking in the kitchen oven and removing one of the grates to fit him into it.  This fellow is not as big but he is a tall figure and will need to be baked laying down in the kitchen oven.

I am keeping a photographic journal of the process of building the figure so that I can share a tutorial on it later on.  Don’t look for the tutorial until after the holidays however.

I am brewing plans on another figure too, but not sure if I will get a chance to work on it or not, I have a lot of other work to get done, so there is a fairly good chance I won’t get to work on the second figure.  I am hoping to at least get it started, however, and should be able to create a tutorial around it as well.  We’ll see.
